What to Expect From Your Chicago Boudoir Session
1. Plan Your Boudoir Session
Start with a free consultation or choose your date and time. Then we’ll connect to discuss your ideas, wardrobe, comfort level, and what you want to feel when you see your final photographs.
2. Your Private Photography Experience
Your session takes place in a comfortable, professional, and private environment. I guide you through posing, expression, and movement so you can focus on the experience instead of worrying about how to pose.
3. Choose the Images You Love
After your session, you’ll receive a private selection experience followed by professionally retouched final images created to look polished while still looking like you.

I’m nervous. Is that normal?
Every single client is nervous walking in. Not one has regretted coming. If it helps, book a free 15-minute call first — just to talk, no commitment.
Is everything private?
Yes. Your images belong to you. Nothing is shared without your explicit permission. Ever.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Absolutely! If having a friend or family member there makes you feel more at ease, they are welcome to join. However, you can also choose a private session if you prefer.
How explicit are the photos?
That depends on the style of session you choose and the idea you have in mind. A portrait or lifestyle session can be fully clothed, a fashion session is about wardrobe and attitude, and a boudoir session is more intimate. You choose the style, the wardrobe and how much you show, and nothing ever goes further than what you’re comfortable with. Want to talk it through first? Book a free 15-minute call.
What should I wear?
It depends on the style of session you choose. For a portrait or lifestyle session, wear outfits that feel like you, from jeans and a favorite sweater to a dress. For a fashion session, bring statement pieces. For boudoir, lingerie, robes or anything that makes you feel beautiful. Before your session we’ll talk through your ideas and wardrobe together, so you won’t have to guess. Feel free to bring accessories like jewelry, hats, and scarves to add a personal touch.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book?
Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your date. The remaining 50% is due on the day of your session, once the session is finished. You can pay both by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Card payments add a 3.5% + $0.10 processing fee.
Can I cancel or reschedule my session?
If something comes up, you can reschedule your session. You’ll receive a contract with all the details, including the cancellation terms.
When will I receive my photos?
Delivery happens in two stages. First, you’ll see all the photos from your session with color retouching, so you can choose your favorites. Once you’ve chosen, your 8 final images are retouched, which usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. It can take a little more or less time, at the photographer’s discretion.
